Getting Closer...

I got my second donation! Yea!! I'm now 5% of the way to my goal - which means I still have a long way to go. But after this Saturday, when I meed my honored patient, I will start my fundraising campaign in earnest. And then I'm sure I will get donations faster than I can keep up with.

It's been raining for the past two days here, but hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get out and do some running. Training officially starts on the 12th - but I figure I need all the extra practice I can get!

I've had at least one person say that they would walk the training with me, so as soon as I know what my training schedule is, I will post it for anyone who wants to keep track.
